Zero-setup auto discovery
Open the site on any device in the same network and it connects to nearby devices on its own. No codes, no QR scanning, no pairing.
OKYA Share lets every device on the same Wi-Fi send files, messages, voice notes and screens to each other. Open the page and nearby devices find each other automatically — everything travels peer to peer and is never uploaded to a server.
No cables, no cloud folders, no “can you email it to me?”. Share straight to the people who are actually here.
Open the site on any device in the same network and it connects to nearby devices on its own. No codes, no QR scanning, no pairing.
A shared public IP is never enough. Devices must reach each other over private addresses before they can share with each other.
Messages and voice notes travel over encrypted WebRTC connections directly between devices. The server never sees what you share.
Send images, videos, PDFs and any other file up to 1 GB at local network speed, with live progress for every recipient.
Images, videos and PDFs open right in the conversation, so everyone sees the same thing without downloading first.
See who is online and how each device is connected. Dropped links rebuild themselves when Wi-Fi comes back.
Messages and received files are kept in your browser’s local database, per network. Clear them whenever you like.
Share a screen, window or tab with every connected device for reviews, lessons and demos — peer to peer, like everything else.
Start a whiteboard from chat and sketch with connected devices. Strokes travel directly between devices.
One page, every device: laptops, phones and tablets on Windows, macOS, Android and iOS.
Share slides, recordings and notes with everyone at the table in seconds, then leave nothing behind in a cloud folder.
Hand out worksheets and collect results from a whole class without accounts, USB sticks or a school login.
Move photos from a phone to the family PC or send a document to the printer laptop — across every brand of device.
Share shot lists, raw footage and run-of-show updates with the crew on site, even when the internet uplink is slow.
OKYA Share uses only standard browser technology, so there is nothing to install or configure.
Connect your devices to the same Wi-Fi or wired LAN, then open share.okya.app in a modern browser.
A lightweight signaling service introduces candidates; each pair then proves it is reachable over private LAN addresses.
Once verified, files, messages and screens flow directly between devices. Close the tab to stop sharing.
The only thing OKYA Share runs in the cloud is a small, in-memory signaling service that helps devices find each other. It has no database and stores nothing.
Messages and files are sent over WebRTC DataChannels, which are always encrypted (DTLS). TURN relays are disabled by design, so content can never be forwarded through a server.
If your browser cannot prove that another device is really on your LAN — for example on guest Wi-Fi with client isolation or behind a VPN — Share tells you clearly instead of guessing.
Share combines the convenience of a group chat with the speed and privacy of a local transfer.

OKYA Share is a browser-based local network sharing tool made by OKYA. Devices on the same Wi-Fi or wired LAN discover each other automatically and share messages, images, videos, PDFs, other files and screens directly, peer to peer, over encrypted WebRTC connections.
A shared public IP address only makes two devices candidates. Share then opens a WebRTC connection that may use only local host candidates — private, link-local or mDNS addresses — with no STUN or TURN servers. Only if that strictly local connection succeeds can the devices share with each other, and the path is re-checked while connected.
No. The signaling service only exchanges connection set-up data such as session descriptions and network candidates, keeps it in memory, and has no database. Chat content and files travel only over direct DataChannels. TURN relays are refused, so a server can never forward your data.
No. Open share.okya.app in a modern browser on each device. A random device key is generated locally to identify the device; there is no sign-up, phone number or email address involved.
Current versions of Chrome, Edge, Safari and Firefox on Windows, macOS, Linux, Android, iOS and iPadOS. The browser needs WebRTC, WebCrypto and IndexedDB, and the page must be opened over HTTPS.
Share shows an explicit message and does not connect you to anyone automatically. Common causes are guest networks with client isolation, VPNs, mobile data, or corporate networks that block peer-to-peer traffic. You can try another network or use an optional LAN verification node.
An optional small program you run on an always-on computer inside your network. Each browser visits its private address once and receives a short-lived signed token bound to that device. Devices holding tokens from the same node are grouped together even when the browser alone cannot prove the local path.
Each file can be up to 1 GB. Files are split into chunks and streamed directly between devices with flow control, so speed is limited mainly by your Wi-Fi or Ethernet. Every recipient shows its own progress. If a connection drops mid-transfer, simply send the file again.
Only in the local IndexedDB database of each browser, separated by network. Nothing is uploaded. You can clear the history at any time, and clearing site data in the browser removes it completely.
Up to 32 devices on the same network can be connected at once. Every device connects directly to every other device, which keeps sharing fast and private.
Yes. Use the screen-sharing button beside the message composer and choose a screen, window or tab. Other devices can watch from the chat message. The shared clipboard is still planned.
No, and that is intentional. OKYA Share is designed for people who share the same local network. For remote collaboration, use a tool built for the internet; Share keeps everything on your local network.
